'Wild Card', after its creation, became a classic in the art of conjuring in next to no time. This had everything to do with the fact that the trick, in spite of its ease of performance, still knocked them for six. You don't need to be an card freak to go crazy over 'Wild Card'.

Its basic principle has remain unchanged through the years: you show, one at a time, eight identical cards and put those, in front of you, down on the table, four cards with the picture side face up and four cards with the picture side face down.

Hold a ninth card in your hand; this card has a different face value than the eight others. With extremely simple moves, you now see to it that all the cards that are on the table assume the same face value as that of the ninth card that you have in your hand. The 'Wild Card' has done its work!
