You tell your audience of a fantastic dream you had, a few days before, about the show you are performing today. In that dream, you let someone choose a card and then... you woke up! You were still a little shaken, and didn't have a good idea whether it was a memory, or rather something that was still supposed to happen. You took a deck of cards and took out the card which was chosen by the spectator in your dream. You then nailed that card to the table. Next, you took a picture of that... That picture is now produced, shown to your audience, and a spectator is asked to keep it for you. You say you are convinced your dream was about the performance today, and you are sure the card on the picture will be selected today. Now, you test that theory, but the card chosen now doesn't appear to be the correct one. You take the card to the picture, and press them both together. Then you let the card drop to the table. A hole has suddenly appeared in it. Turn it face up. It is not the chosen card, but rather the one which was on the picture! Look at the picture again. Miraculously, it has changed. The nailed card which is now depicted in the picture now turns out to be the chosen card! A fantastic transposition!
