Two small wooden cut-outs of rabbits (one black, the other white) are covered with two small wooden tubes. These tubes are each marked with a top hat, one white the other black. Place the tube with the white hat over the white rabbit, the tube with the black hat over the black one. No matter how often you switch the tubes around, the rabbits don’t budge from the side they started on. Just when the children think they’ve worked out how it’s done (each rabbit has an opposite colour on its back…), you remove the tubes. To everybody’s surprise, a blue and a yellow rabbit appear!
A humorous routine which both the nippers and the older children will derive great pleasure from (not forgetting the parents who will be watching on the sly). A high level of participation from the young audience is possible. High-class, sturdy finish.
