Through those holes, you can always see the image side of the chosen card. And still you are able to slide both halves apart almost all the way. It remains a bizarre sight! A moment later, you bring both halves back together again and restore everything to its original state. Both cards can be handed out for examination right away, and can be thoroughly checked. That is a feat which may also be called ‘impressive’…
